“It is a tall order, and Curtis’ [director] elegant and assured guidance, along with Fellowes’ [screenwriter] customarily witty and engaging scenario, make this the best Downton movie of them all, one I have to admit shedding a tear or two by the time it ended.”  (Pete Hammond, Deadline Hollywood Daily)

“This movie is as close to a perfect ending as the franchise could get.”  (Rachel LaBonte, Screen Rant)

“An excellent, handsome piece, its narrative menu deliciously packed with a pleasing mix of drama and humour dancing around the central theme social progress…beautifully fashioned for fans, it works perfectly well as a standalone.”  (Jim Schembri, JimSchembri.com)
