Will (Ben Foster) and his teenage daughter, Tom (Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie), have lived off the grid for years in the forests of Portland, Oregon. When their idyllic life is shattered, both are put into social services. After clashing with their new surroundings, Will and Tom set off on a harrowing journey back to their wild homeland.

Insider’s tip: “The first few minutes of Leave No Trace are as entrapping as the spider webs the camera notices in passing. They catch you up in a suspenseful wilderness tale that opens out to an urgent drama of conflict, beauty and growth” (Joe Morgenstern, Wall Street Journal). Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times, adds: “Fiercely involving in a way we’re not used to, made with sensitivity and honesty by director/co-writer Debra Granik, it tells its emotional story of a father and daughter living dangerously off the grid in a way that is unnerving and uncompromising yet completely satisfying.” Jordan Ruimy, The Playlist:Leave No Trace is a universal, unforgettable experience.”

LEAVE NO TRACE is a Metacritic.com “MUST SEE,” with 3 wins and an additional 8 nominations for excellence.
