From Me – FROM BROADWAY TO CINEMA – Avery Sommers,

gal who replaced Nell Carter in the Broadway musical AIN’T MISBEHAVIN’ and
who covered the role of Queenie in the Broadway production of SHOWBOAT, presents
an evening of songs and anecdote from Broadway shows that went to the movies,
and songs written for the movies that went to the Great White Way.

world-renown composers as Cole Porter, Richard Rogers, Edith Piaf, Antonio

July 23 – Train of Love – A TRIBUTE TO JOHNNY CASH – Terry Lee Goffee,
with bass guitar, drums, keyboard, lead and rhythm guitars, and two
supporting-vocalists. Half concert,
half stage show, the two-hour performance with 34 tunes includes Goffee in a
first-person narrative of Cash’s long career.
“I Walk the Line,” “Hurt,” “A Boy Named Sue,” and “Folsom
Prison Blues,” are just the beginning.
